Meet the Staff

Hello, I am Charlie. Fortunately, I have a full time job running the Border International truck dealerships in Las Cruces and El Paso. The unfortunate part of that is you won’t see me around as much as Case, Ethan, Doug, and Jenna, but I know things are in good hands. I am born and raised in Las Cruces and my family goes back several generations in this valley. I was born into a hunting family and having a bow shop to retire into was always in the back of my thoughts. I really wasn’t planning on doing it this early but the opportunity presented itself and here we are. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to team up with and Jenna, myself and my family are excited about the opportunities we are looking into. I have been blessed with 3 wonderful children and 5 wonderful grandchildren. This opportunity in the archery world will be an additional family adventure and hopefully one that can last for a few of our generations. So, sorry for the long story but that is a little about us and I can’t say enough about how excited we are to be allowed to join this archery family and carry on an already great thing.

I am a lean, mean, sleepy, bow tuning machine. I have been shooting for 7 years but shooting a real bow "Bowtech" for 4 years. I do a killer Pinocchio impersonation & can quote most any Disney movie ever made!! If you don't know I am the tall skinny kid!

JENNA CHESTER
You’ll mostly see me running back and forth from the front of the store to talk to anyone who comes in to the back where my office waits with all the paperwork involved in running an archery shop! I grew up around hunting and the outdoors and was introduced to archery when my husband took an interest many years ago. I couldn’t imagine being where I am today when it comes to where I work, and I couldn’t be more excited to be here! I feel at home with everyone who comes through the door and love to hear the different stories about how people got into archery and which hunts they drew this year or what crazy obstacles they had to go through to shoot their biggest deer yet a couple years back. You just never hear the same story twice! I married my own outdoor man and have three little boys growing up alongside all this fun stuff here at High Desert Archery!
